Who is Vinx? Most people know him as...One man. One voice. One drum. As you will discover, Vinx is much more. Vinx's music transcends languages and borders. This is evident from his international touring schedule and cult-like popularity. Vinx has taken the wisdom of his mother to heart. She often told him that "You can't sing of life unless you live."

Karen Watson (a Trail of Dreams World Peace Walker): Her music and her life journey are inseperable. She combines gospel and jazz in a sultry voice that compels the listener to high ground. Karen is also a visual artists whose works will be a part of the visual arts exhibit along the trail.

Three Generations is a traveling musical theater company dedicated to the preservation of Native American and African song and storytelling. This exciting troupe combines the elements of song, history, geography, language, rhythm, culture and dance to create an entertaining, educational, spiritually elevated performance full of audience participation. Three Generations is a family company formed in 1997 by our beloved medicine keeper and visionary Grandmother Mountain Eagle Woman. Grandmother taught her family to use the energy of sound to nourish the emotions, cleanse the spirit and wake up our collective ancestral memory.

Mikuak Rai: An "indigo child" born Easter Sunday to a heroin-addicted mother in the inner city of Chicago...thus sets the stage for the life and art of Mikuak Rai (pronounced ma-koo-ah ray). Overcoming life-threatening circumstances during his first moments, Mikuak has always known he has a special purpose, an undeniable calling, and that music is central to fulfilling his life work.

Jonathan Blanchard delivers performances that are spiritually enveloped in the traditions of ancient Africans and early African-Americans.  His singing "skillfully guides audiences through Sacred, Gospel, Jazz, R&B, and Blues stylizations of the Negro Spiritual".   A singer who has  been hailed as a " beautiful fusion of Negro Spirituals and Jazz" through "moving and soulful renditions that speak to every heart."

Saxophonist Plunky Branch is an experienced performer, songwriter and music and film producer, and he is president of N.A.M.E. Brand Records, through which he has released 21 albums. At one time Plunky was a studio musician for television's top-rated sitcom, "The Cosby Show. His song “Every Way But Loose” was a top-ten soul music chart hit in London.
