The 13 Moon Peace Walk, www.13moonwalk4peace.org, invites elders, healers, spiritual/religious leaders, young leaders and traditional wisdom keepers to join us as our walk
across America takes us to the Gulf of Mexico region. The Trail of Dreams World Peace Walkers, sponsors of the 13 Moon Walk
4 Peace will conduct healing ceremonies at Tampa Bay, Florida on November 10, 2010 @ 10am; Bayou La Batre, Alabama on
December 4, 2010 @ 10am; New Orleans on December 11, 2010 @ 10am; and in Houston, Texas on January 8, 2011 @ 10am. The
purpose of the “Healing Waters Ceremony” is to pray
for the waters of the earth and to pray for the “re-balancing” of humanities’ relation with the heart of
Mother Earth and all life, and for the healing of the Gulf and all of the life -- the eco system and the people whose way
of life is being adversely affected by the crisis there. The “Healing Water’s Ceremony will also call forward
a greater opening of the hearts of humanity to be mindful of its stewardship of the planet and to practice “7
generations” decision making to affect ecological sustainability (Seven generation sustainability
is an ecological concept that urges each generation to live sustainably and work for the benefit of the seventh
generation into the future. It originated with the Iroquois - Great Law of the Iroquois - which holds appropriate
to think seven generations ahead (a couple hundred years into the future) and decide whether the decisions they make today
would benefit their children seven generations into the future).
